Habits at Work 2

October 4-6, 2016 – Habits at Work and Guckenheimer teamed up during Workroom Seattle to show organizations how good habits can influence employees’ productivity, engagement, performance and growth at work. This 3 day event featured interactive workshops designed to help organizations build a performance culture and make them an employer of choice. To keep attendees well-nourished and energized, Guckenheimer Regional Executive Chef Doug Setniker and his team provided lunch and healthy snacks. Special menu items featured an array of nutritious foods including banana beet smoothies, chardonnay poached salmon, roasted vegetable hash, kale wrapped cilantro chicken, and more. Choice architecture and color coded labeling also helped attendees make healthier food choices during their break times.

Work Room events encourage leaders to work on a strategy for creating a happy, healthy, and thriving workforce and helps employees practice a set of pivotal habits to improve work performance. Here at Guckenheimer, we believe a successful corporate dining service can complement that strategy and create a great opportunity for employee engagement while bringing a company culture to life.
