Paul Fairhead brings vision to life as our Chief Operating Officer. He has worked for nearly 20 years at the intersection of the food business and the facility services industry. His unique background means he can keep up with business demands while still celebrating culinary creativity.
Paul has been with ISS since 2008, where he has held several leadership roles in operations and food services. When ISS acquired Guckenheimer in 2017, Paul’s experience made him a natural fit to help create a successful blueprint for food services and integrated facility services. He is a champion for the continued growth of our business with a service partner mindset.
Before moving into the COO job at Guckenheimer, Paul was Vice President of Operational Excellence for ISS Guckenheimer. He led an interdisciplinary team responsible for shaping the direction of the business by aligning the culinary, product development and continuous process improvement functions. He brings the same approach to operational leadership of the food services division – guiding ISS Guckenheimer units in creating the best possible dining experience for our clients with efficiency and inspiration.
Before joining ISS, Paul honed his culinary and operational skills in the United Kingdom in a variety of restaurants and hotels, as well as some time with Aramark. He started his ISS career in The UK and Ireland. He completed his culinary training at Crawley College in West Sussex, UK. In 2010, Paul was awarded the Hotel and Caterers Acorn Award, which recognizes young stars in the industry.
