WHY ZERO WASTE? WHY NOW?

  • In 2022, we set an ambitious goal to cut food waste across all client accounts by 50% by the end of 2025. Why? Because one-third of all food produced globally is lost or wasted — and food production itself requires immense water, energy and human resources.

  • The Zero-Waste Cookbook was born from our desire to showcase one of the ways we are driving this goal, and inspire others to make sustainability and mindful cooking a natural part of their daily food choices.

To raise awareness and funds for fire recovery, this exclusive evening brought together Chef Amanda Freitag, our partners and friends, community leaders, and the ArtCenter College of Design community for delicious food and dynamic discussion, all in support of the Pasadena and Altadena community.

The Zero-Waste Cookbook is a blueprint for mindful cooking that transforms surplus ingredients into culinary masterpieces. Innovation like what we’ve shared in this cookbook has help us achieve a remarkable 64% reduction in food waste from our 2022 baseline.
